■ Strong exports of extra-high-voltage cables to Europe raise expectations for record annual profit
■ Busduct revenue triples amid surging data center demand
■ Driving growth through high-value-added businesses such as 400 kV extra-high-voltage cables and rare earths
LS Eco Energy (CEO Lee Sang-ho) has set new performance records for the second year in a row as it continues its rapid growth.
The company announced its figures for the first half of 2026 on the 5th, including revenue of KRW 635.8 billion and an operating profit of KRW 45.4 billion. These represent increases of 32.8% and 16.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year, and mark all-time half-year highs.
With first-half revenue approximately two-thirds last year's annual revenue of KRW 960.1 billion, the company is on track to surpass KRW 1 trillion for the first time this year.
This record performance was driven by expanding exports of high-value-added products, including busducts and extra-high-voltage power cables, to Europe. Another major factor was the growing demand for power and communication infrastructure, which has been fueled by expanding power grid investments around the globe, the proliferation of AI data centers, and the accelerating transition to renewable energy.
In particular, busduct revenue tripled compared to the same period last year, with demand surging as global big tech companies expanded investments in hyperscale data centers and the construction of high-rise buildings, particularly in Malaysia and Indonesia.
LS Eco Energy recently completed the PQ test for 400 kV extra-high-voltage cables, and is now poised to aggressively expand into high-value-added markets such as Europe and North America. The company is also promoting the mass production of rare earth metals in cooperation with Australia's Lynas as it redoubles efforts to secure new growth engines.
"Our growth is now centered on high-value-added products such as extra-high-voltage cables and busducts," said Lee Sang-ho, CEO of LS Eco Energy. "We’ll continue to advance our power business and cultivate rare earths as a new growth pillar in order to drive revenue and profit growth."
